As the days before the Libertarian National Convention become fewer, the race for endorsements was ratcheted up another notch today, with movie producer Aaron Russo receiving support from Rob Kampia, a high profile member of the Libertarian Party, and executive director of the Washington D.C.-based Marijuana Policy Project.
"Unlike many people in Hollywood, Aaron Russo correctly views the
actions of the federal government as highly relevant to all
Americans' lives," said Kampia.
"Aaron has a deep understanding of all the major political issues of the day, and he is well-positioned to build bridges between the Hollywood community, the Libertarian Party, and the federal government. And, perhaps most importantly, Aaron is a member of MPP's advisory board."
Also today, Gary Nolan's campaign announced a number of endorsements from college students around the country.
