As an anti-lobbyist (my client's don't want anything from the government except to be left alone). I have to spend a lot of my time on the Hill. That means that I have to go through the security gauntlet each time I enter one of the Congressional office buildings or Capitol. I also have to walk by dozens of police cars and stand alone officers. What are all of these cops guarding? Congress! What a waste of time and money. If the police are going to be used for protection and security purposes they should guard something or someone of value. I would suggest they think about guarding my wife. She is much more valuable (to me especially) to society (she is a nurse, caring daughter, great sister, fun aunt and loving wife). She brings health and happiness to her patients and their families. She brings much more to the world than anyone in Congress. For the most part, they destroy life, liberty, property, fun and happiness. The only guards most of them need are prison guards.
