I've been saying this since the election. Clearly an out of left field choice, which will immunize Dubya and be very difficult for anyone in the Senate from getting hungup about.

To be clear, definitely NOT my choice. I may be Italo-American from NY, but Rudy comes from a place far away from me. Still, the guy was THE go to guy in the final days of the election, and, from a style perspective, served Dubya well. Dubya owes him and, despite all his faults, is loyal.

A lawyer, prosecutor, and "hero" of 9/11. A "liberal" Republican. A cancer survivor, who's made tons of dough since leaving office...he doesn't need any more. Unelectable as Prez, though he probably still suffers some delusions. Why not "go out" as a Supreme, the cushiest power-job in America.

You heard it here first. I'm taking bets, but I do need some odds.
