...William Weld, former guv of MA, may throw his hat into the governor's race in NY, likely pitted against Eliot Spitzer for the Dems.

Note his socially liberal/fiscally conservative positioning...sounds a bit Free Liberalish to me. And he's, well, just kind of a interesting dude. Unlike Hillary, who's clearly a carpet-bagger, Weld was born and raised in NY. He was more of a carpetbagger in MA.
