What a farce to invoke Jesus’ name in saving “Tookie”. Perhaps you forgot that two other criminals hung on crosses with Jesus. One clearly repented, but instead of using His power and authority to order that man from the cross, Jesus told him that that day he would be with Jesus in paradise. If Tookie has repented and changed, he can look forward to that same end. Executing him will not be a waste of his life, Tookie already wasted his life along with the lives he destroyed in the process.
