The Dyson Vacuum Cleaner and Educational Innovation

Dear Sir

I was very interested to read the article by Michael Strong about the unfair situation between the Educational and the Dyson innovation. I can show you a third example, and I would sincerely like you to find the time to look at my web page which will show you what I mean.

You will see that although I have for 15 years gone the same rout as Mr Dyson, my results have been almost the opposite to his. I can only put this down to the fact that Mr Dyson had already got the ear of the BBC long before he had Cyclone cleaner.

I believe his connections with the media started when he was a salesman for Jeremy Fry who invented the Seatruck and this continued when he made the ball barrow.

And although my machine has been tested and proved itself to be more efficient, I have never been able to get the interest of the media, which is so important to the innovator. When I was a young boy they told me. "it was not what you knew but who you knew that mattered". I am now 79 and I wish I had taken more notice off them.

My Web page also contains a short Video Clip. URL is www.edginton.info/arc
