Outstanding Article on Origins of Evil

Mr. Foldvary's 12/31 article on the origins of evil was outstanding. I printed the article out so I can read it again from time to time (what I do with most thought-provoking text). Like a lot of people, I often think about the nature of right versus wrong, and one of my big epiphanies came from a T.S. Elliott quote: "Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm -- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves." I suspect that another epiphany will come from your article, but I need to digest it first. In the meantime, please keep contributing to the Free Liberal. Your commentary makes an already great site better.
