Paul Jacob's piece on "The Click-it Tyranny" was excellent.

Correct me if I am wrong, but is the seat belt law the only moving violation that protects us from ourselves? I have had 2 instances were I was pulled over for speeding and "let-off" with only a seatbelt ticket.

Funny, by speeding I could definitely hurt or put another driver/ pedestrian at risk. Speed kills right? Without a seatbelt, I could only hurt myself.

Which one are police taking more seriously?
