Although I do not in anyway share your opinions on the matter, I appreciate the attempt to explain your position with more than the standard "its cruel" statement. Rather than write a rebuttal as that can only reflect my position, let me make a suggestion. Take the time to learn about the racing industry. If you haven't had any up-close and personal experience with horses, specifically the racing variety, seek out the opportunity. Spend time with the owners, trainers, grooms and anyone that personally know these horses. The experience may not change all your opinions but I think you'll learn its much more then a stupid sport.
