That's what I thought when I first saw the videos.

The kid had some real problems. Just like the Columbine children, he
was picked on relentlessly. This kind of everyday torture has got to
take a toll on anyone's mentality. Of all the dirt and bullshit the
media has picked up about Cho, I was quite shocked about the
classmates laughing at him and telling him to go back to China when he
was forced to read to the class. It's such a sad story.

This article is extremely straight to the point and harsh about it.
The whole last paragraph is beautiful, though. I couldn't have said it
better myself.
