The only thing more corrupt than a Las Vegas courtroom is the television tabloid media who first tried to prove that OJ Simpson was innocent and then, when Hollywood bigwigs from Fred Goldman's Temple, started contributing to his Public Realtions fund - it has been rumored that Roseanne Barr contributed $250,0 00. Tabloid television then did everything they could to prove him guilty. Unfortunately for them, and fortunately for Simpson, the jury was sequestered and had to find on the facts not the hype. It's fascinating to listen to the "reporters" on CNN et al yell about Simpson "breaking in these guy's room." The hearing, already telecast in Las Vegas in its entirity, has proven that it wasn't their room, and Simpson did not break in. He walked into Thomas Riccio's room behind Riccio after Riccio unlocked the door. Simpson was the last person to enter the room. It was done with the knowledge of both Las Vegas Metro and the FBI. Still, the police refused to arrest the actual, admitted thieves who had taken stolen merchandise across state lines because they "had bigger fish to fry." Can't wait to see how the tabloids spin that.
