Despicable Behavior

by Kevin D. Rollins

This video of a mob of Ron Paul supporters chasing Sean Hannity down the street is horrendous. Who are these people? Are they really advocates of peace and liberty?

Per my previous post on hatred in the libertarian movement, and my co-signed letter to the apparent writer of the racist newsletter to which Ron Paul's name was attached, this video constitutes further proof that there is a subset of "libertarians" who don't respect other people and are fueled by a boiling hatred.

To those people who took part in chasing Mr. Hannity down the street, "Shame on you."

Anyone who can name these individuals should post their names online so that other libertarians can shun them from the movement.

At least it wasn't a real news reporter.

. . . They were excercising their right to speak freely. They weren't hitting him. They didn't touch him. All they do is loudly follow him.

It doesn't matter.

Though, in saying that, I do think they could have been more polite . . .

Yes, they were exercising their rights. Acting like a jackass is protected in the Bill of Rights. That doesn't mean you should act like a jackass.

lets ban Kevin D. Rollins from the movement you backbiting wus. You denounce shouting at a treasonous jerk, yet have nothing to say about murdering 1.1 million Iraqis? or imprisoning 2 million non-violent blacks in a racist drug war?

Real patriots are sick of your ninnying.

They were very rude, but they can't hold a candle to hannibaby himself. I'm sure he wanted to get hit or have something happen so he could really go on about how Ron Paul is to blame for people being angry at our one-party corporate system instead of just talking about how brave he was for 'standing up to them'

Mob tactics do nothing to make Ron Paul or liberty seem more palatable to the average American. These tactics hurt liberty.

It may be very satisfying to scream and yell, but doing so suggests an inability to win through reason.

Funny, it looks like a mob of reporters chasing an interview. I guess it isn't horrendous when the media does it? Please!
And Hannity scurried away, brave man indeed!

Sean Insanity is just lucky there were no tar and feathers in that crowd. He's that much of a jerk, and he deserved that parparazzi treatment.

Glenn Beck says all RP supporters should be charged with treason. The penalty for treason is DEATH!!! Forgive me if I feel a few snowballs to a neocon hack like Hannity is a little light in comparison. Besides, now he thinks he's "a real man" since he "stood up" to it. I knew it would take something this drastic, to get him to think of himself like THAT! Please.

This sounds a lot like, "the guy down the street murdered his wife, but I only beat my wife, so it is okay."

Moreover, it doesn't matter how others act. People of principle act correctly regardless of what others do.
